1. Which calls are recorded, and why are they stored?
Only the portion of each call handled by the AI Assistant is recorded. Recording stops once the call is transferred to you. Direct calls that bypass the assistant are also not recorded These recordings and transcripts are stored exclusively for your reference and to generate call summaries, helping you review conversations and stay informed about who called and why.

You retain full control over your data and can access, review, and delete recordings and transcripts at any time through the app. Equal AI does not share or use your call recordings for any purpose other than providing you with summaries and references. By using Equal AI, you acknowledge that the AI-handled portion of calls will be recorded for these purposes in compliance with applicable laws.
2. Who can access my call recordings and data?
Only you can access your call recordings and data through your Equal AI account. We do not share, sell, or disclose your recordings or personal information to third parties, except where required by applicable law or with your explicit consent.

3. Why is Equal AI taking caller ID permission?
Equal AI displays caller details using a green card, helping users quickly identify who is calling. To show this information accurately, the app requires access to Caller ID permissions.
4. Can I permanently delete call recordings and summaries?
Yes, users can permanently delete the call recordings and summaries by following these steps:

Open home screen → Open caller screen → Open caller profile → Call logs can be seen under call history → Swipe from right to left on the call log and it will be deleted.
